B&Q have remodelled their existing Canterbury store to enable Aldi to take occupancy of part of the building. The scheme was to reduce B&Q’s share of the building footprint to facilitate Aldi moving in.
The project was completed whilst the store was fully trading, which requires a high level of co-ordination to minimise any disruption to the store.
The scope of works required a the full re design of the mechanical and electrical services throughout the building, including:
- HV Transformer
- LV Switchgear & mains distribution
- Small & general power
- LED General and emergency lighting
- Fire Alarm System
- CCTV system
- Intruder alarm
- HVAC System
- Ventilation
- AC systems
- Hot & cold water services
